How to reach us

EuroBLECH is held at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover. International flight connections as well as the excellent local infrastructure make the venue easily accessible. Not sure how to get to the exhibition grounds? We have all the information you need whether you arrive by train, car, plane or local transport.

By Train

Convenient, CO2 free and easy to reach by train, "Hannover Messe/Laatzen" is the exhibition grounds’ own station. From there, the covered Skywalk takes you to entrance West 1.

Deutsche Bahn (DB) Event Ticket

For sustainable travel within Germany, check the special DB Event Ticket for EuroBLECH 2024 from just €55,90.

The Event Ticket* is available at a fixed price from any DB station to Hannover, with the City-Ticket included.

By Car

Hanover’s official Low Emissions Zone is roughly defined by the express ways (Schnellwege) encircling the city centre. It is indicated by signs reading ‘Umwelt-Zone’. Only vehicles which meet certain minimum requirements are permitted to enter the zone. To demonstrate compliance, an official permit (disc-shaped sticker) must be displayed on every vehicle's windshield.

The TÜV Nord website includes further information regarding the Low Emissions Zone as well as an order form to obtain an emissions sticker.

By Plane

Direct flights to Hanover are available from numerous major cities. For more details on flights please refer to Hannover Airport's website.

An exclusive EuroBLECH-shuttle service will be available throughout the trade fair period for EUR 25 each way. The shuttle bus, which is not bound to a schedule, will run as required. For further information and bookings visit the shuttle website.

The journey from the airport to the Exhibition Grounds by taxi takes approx. 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Alternatively, the main railway station is well connected with the suburban railway (S-Bahn). Further information can be found on the S-Bahn Hannover website.

By Public Transport

You can reach the exhibition grounds quickly and conveniently with the public transport network. For information on the local transport network, including a journey planner and ticket prices, please visit the website of GVH, the local transport provider.

The nearest stops:

  • for entrance West 1: S-Bahn (suburban train) stop ‘Hannover Messe/ Laatzen‘
  • for entrance Süd 1: Bus stop ‘Laatzen/ Gutenberstraße‘
  • for entrance Ost 3: Tram stop ‘Messe/ Ost (EXPO-Plaza)‘
  • for entrance Nord 1+2: Tram stop ‘Messe/ Nord‘

Visa Information

We recommend initiating your visa arrangements well in advance to ensure you obtain your visa before the start of the exhibition. Applications can be made as early as six months before the time of travel.

Need an invitation letter? 

The German Foreign Office has informed the German Embassy and Consulate Visa Sections all over the world that, effective 24 July 2013, an official invitation letter from the trade fair organiser is no longer required when applying for a trade fair visa. Furthermore, foreign exhibitors at German trade fairs who present an official exhibitor pass are exempt from the visa fee.
